to be or not to be??

as many would have known by now, the hp pavilion dv2125tx that i own is now rendered paralysed and in coma since end of October.

my lappie looks a bit like the pic above, albeit without the twirls and swirls that comes randomly

i only got the chance to send it of to the hp service centre on tuesday as i'm in kl for the week. the other service centres that are near to sg petani is the one in alor star and the penang one. and since i'm in kl, i might as well send it to the one here.

oh wells, the service centre ppl at hp towers were nice and friendly (or at least the ones that i met). one of the very 'sat' looking men (they were wearing white fur-looking vests that had a cool effect when looked upon in overall!! n not to mention good looking) and the friendly lady at the counter (i'm so sorry i forgot ur name) attended to me grouses. well i do remember they were chinese n they were nice??

ne ways the whole point is, i might to get the whole MOTHERBOARD replaced if the problem is what they suspect it is, which can amount to rm 1000. the pretty lady said that the video card is on the motherboard and then wad if replace, nid to replace the whole thing. n then i'm like WHAT??? okay... fine, just do whatever checking u have to do-lah...

then rite, i proceeded to ask about delivery charges since i might be off back to aimst by the time my laptop will be done, then she said that if i supposed collect it from any of the OTHER service centres, then there will be NO DELIVERY charges!! however, if i opt to have it sent right to my doorstep, then of course delivery charges for it will apply-loh. alright fine, then she told me LET'S SAY if i choose NOT to repair the laptop, nid to pay rm90+ cos they nid to check the laptop punya bayaran..

so i'm like

so... if i really nid to pay 1k plus just to get it repaired, should i??

i mean it's quite a canggih laptop leh... even tho i bought it in dec 2006... and it's so pretty!!
really sayang to part with my laptop,
even tho it's so HOT (major overheat problem for quite a long time already)

even if i buy let's say a rm3k laptop now, the specs would be er, would'nt be of much of difference?? except for the vista part la... haha... dun play play, my lappie cost me almost 5k tat time okay... (personally actually wouldn't have gotten it bcos of the price, but daddy say buy, mar buy lor.. wakakakakaaa)

sighz... pay 1--2k for repair? or just buy a new canggih laptop?? (my sista sure kill me la liddat)

aiyo pls pls pls let it not be motherboard problem lor... if yes also make it as if thr's sum sort of extended warranty especially for me!! waiseh man!! so good
